Ministry Profile
Bible Studies
These are opportunities to teach the word of God through small group interaction. Open to anyone interested at any level of understanding they have of God. At the moment there are two bible studies available during the week. Each group is different in size and weekly teachings, ranging in age and size, from 22 to 66 and 5 to 20 respectively but the goal is always the same: to teach the Word of God, to worship, to train the members in biblical principles of healing, praying, and evangelism but most importantly to form relationships with one another to encourage and be encouraged and to nurture our faith in God. The small groups help to experience a sense of belonging and having value. These studies are held in various homes including the office of Ambassador Ministries in Covenant.
Monday night: 7-9pm at 1564 St. Catherine Rd. Russell, Ont.
Tuesday morning: 9:30-11am in different homes. Call 613-445-3233 for more information and where meeting that week.
Intercessory Group
This group is a small group of individuals who have had experience in praying and have a desire to pray for the community and surrounding areas. The group meets monthly in the offices of Ambassador Ministries in Covenant, and are dedicated to the importance of such a calling. As a group as well as individually these leaders pray for the businesses, families, schools, health agencies, as well as the government leaders, both provincial, federal as well as municipal, that the Lord would bless them and lead them in all the decisions that are to be made, for protection of the community, its members and their spiritual growth. These intercessors have been trained in biblical principles and strategies of intercessory prayer. Intercessory means “to stand in the gap” which implies to pray on behalf of a person or issue that needs God’s intervention as if it was our need or concern.
Worship: encouraging a desire to worship God with all that we are — body, mind and spirit. Encouraging a flow of worship, which allows freedom of expression through dance, flags, and instruments.
Evangelism and Education: bringing the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ and God's love to all, through: Bible study, one-on-one ministry, and teaching of the Word.
- Planning and Leading programs within community ie: Alpha, A Life Worth Living, Walking on Water, Prayer of Jabez.
- Discipleship/Mentoring: nurturing and encouraging growth through a personal relationship with Christ.
The Recovery Room Healing Clinic: Beginning August 15, 2007 Ambassador Ministries started operating a Recovery Room Healing Clinic within the community. In this recovery room, people will have the opportunity to come and receive prayer for any illness they may have. Prayer and God’s Word are very powerful and through the spoken word, God can heal people bringing healing and encouragement.
Recovery Room Healing Clinic: Held the first Sunday of the month at Legion Hall on Legion Lane, Russell, Ont. at Covenant Fellowship Church following 10:00 am service.
